Lees-McRae College is home to the 10 time National Championship USA Cycling Team. With over 60 student cyclists and a devoted Cycling Advisory Council, Lees-McRae College provides students the opportunity to enhance their chosen field of study with a unique program while gaining knowledge in the art and science of the cycling industry. This minor supports the knowledge and skills of competitive cyclists and enthusiasts, and prepares future generations of cycling professionals. Lees-McRae is committed to all aspects of the cycling world. The Cycling Studies minor is designed to provide students with knowledge and hands-on experience in the cycling industry and serves as an excellent complement to other degree programs.

Through unique partnerships with companies such as Specialized Cycling, InterBike, SidiAmerica, DeFeet and more students gain practical experience in the business of cycling. Guest lectures have also included notable cycling icons such as Greg LeMond, three-time winner of the Tour de France.
