With 17 competitive sports teams and over 300 Bobcat athletes, Lees-McRae provides an excellent training ground for students interested in Sport Administration. This program combines specialized coursework with real-world experiences, preparing students for a variety of management positions within the sport industry. Field experiences include trips to the Bristol Speedway and internship experiences are emphasized with athletic teams on campus and in the professional industry. Students choose between two areas of concentration: Sports Media and Communication and Sport Business Administration. Certifications are available in Coaching and Personal Training.

Employers range from professional to collegiate athletic programs, facilities management and municipal recreation programs.
