Classes take place at the Foothills Higher Education Center located on South Sterling Street in Morganton, North Carolina (across from Fatz). Lees-McRae College offers 3 programs at this location.
A special fee structure makes these programs affordable for everyone.
This full-time program prepares the student for licensure to work in a
Birth-Kindergarten setting. It builds upon an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
The 60 semester hour program takes place over two years and one summer session. Seated classes meet two evenings a week.
This full-time program is offered through a combination of seated and online classes. It builds upon an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, an AA or AS degree, or a combination of 73 semester hours of college level work that can be transferred to Lees-McRae College.
This 51 semester hour program can be completed over two years and leads to a B.A.A.S. in Criminal Justice.
This full-time program prepares the student to be a teacher in the North Carolina Public School system. It builds upon an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood or an AA or AS degree.
