The Division of Student Success delivers a comprehensive program designed to provide academic support for Lees-McRae students. The Division of Student Success makes every effort to work with each student to find the path that will lead to their individual success as well as help each student to build the foundations of what will become his or her citizenship and service to the greater community and world. Lees-McRae graduates have proven it time and again: There are many pathways to success. The Division of Student Success is committed to assisting each student as they discover and travel their individual paths to academic and personal achievement.
The Division of Student Success at Lees-McRae College is housed in the Burton Center for Student Success in the Bowman Science Building, Room 219. Located within our division are Burton Center Tutoring Services, First Year Programs, Academic Advising, Disability Services, Foundation Courses including College Reading, Introduction to College Writing, Introduction to College Mathematics, and the Academic Success Program, including the courses Academic Success Strategies and Learning Lab.
