Dear Alumni, friends, and Bobcat families,
First of all, I would like to say how thrilled I am that this academic year kicks off the newly created Family Association at Lees-McRae College. Current families are important to the success of the College. Alumni, friends, and Bobcat families are positioned to make great things happen on campus!
Thank you for your interest in and commitment to Lees-McRae College. Our number one goal in the Office of Advancement is to build and sustain relationships with our alumni, friends, and families. Our success depends on you — your level of engagement, your involvement and your loyalty. Never hesitate to contact us with your ideas, concerns or simply to say hello.
I hope you have been keeping up with Lees-McRae through the web site, the monthly e-newsletter, and Pinnacles. This past year has been filled with successes. Thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends, we have had the opportunity to accomplish many projects that genuinely serve our students. One renovation at a time, we are improving the learning atmosphere at Lees-McRae. Stop by the Alumni House, and I would love to share with you in person our many successes.
It’s never too late to get involved! We are always looking for volunteers to reach out to alumni, serve on the Family Council, help recruit new students, and mentor current students. There’s room for you at LMC. What’s the old proverb? “Many hands make light work.”
Warmly,
Caroline O. Hart
Vice President for Advancement
