The Faculty Senate acts as the primary deliberative and decision-making body of the College faculty. All administrative proposals that require faculty approval come before this body for discussion and formal vote. Proposals, concerns and initiatives from academic division, Dean's Council, and individual faculty are brought before this body for consideration.
Membership is comprised of all personnel under contract as faculty members, (including professional library staff and faculty with administrative responsibility). Adjunct faculty, staff members, administrators, and others who may occasionally conduct courses do not hold membership in the Senate.
