Institutional Effectiveness
The Mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Assessment at Lees-McRae College is to facilitate student learning in the context of the College mission, by:
- Ensuring that all units of the College plan and operate in a manner that contributes to the College mission and goals;
- Sustaining compliance with the College’s regional accrediting agency;
- and Assisting other administrative units of the College in strategizing programs and services based on the application of institutional effectiveness results, and accreditation requirements.
Assessment
Assessment at Lees-McRae is a cohesive endeavor that links all organizational levels together. Course assessments link directly to programmatic assessment, which support divisional assessment. Divisional assessments cumulatively address unit outcomes and expectations, which in turn inform the college how well it is reaching the goals of the strategic plan.
