The purpose of the Staff Association is two-fold: to provide better communication between administration and staff and to enhance communication among and between staff in all departments.
The Staff Association serves as a forum for the concerns and interests of the Lees-McRae College Staff as they reflect on the College and its well-being.
Upon request or upon its own initiative, the Staff Association recommends to the College President suggestions and ideas pertaining to the enhancement of the procedural processes of the College. The Staff Association makes available to the President the member’s expertise on the day-to-day operations of the College, as experienced in each department. The Staff Association President will make recommendations on behalf of Staff Association to the College President during their regular meetings or during a requested meeting by either the President of the Staff Association or the College President, as needed.
